Tony's Pizzeria, 3120 Central Ave. SE, Albuquerque, NM, sends text messages to its own employees about their work. This page explains what those texts are, how an employee signs up, and how to stop them.
Who gets texts
Current Tony's Pizzeria employees who opt in. We don't send marketing or promotional texts, and we don't text customers.
What we send
- Weekly work schedules and shift changes.
- Reminders when a shift was not clocked out.
- Staff announcements from management.
Message frequency varies, usually a few texts a week. Message and data rates may apply.
How employees opt in
Employees sign in to the Tony's staff app (schedule.tonyspizzeriaabq.com) with their own account, open the Me tab, enter their mobile number, and tick the text message box. Nothing is sent until the box is ticked and saved. Opting in is optional and is not a condition of employment. The box looks like this:
The opt-in on the Me tab of the staff app. We keep a record of when each person opted in and the exact wording they agreed to.
